St. Louis & Branson MO

Our Thoughts

Below You Can Look At Our Visit

Branson, MO.

Tourist Trap or destination not to be missed? Frankly, I remain undecided. Patti and I visited (Mar. 26-Apr. 2, 24) during the offseason a week before most of the attractions, restaurants and sights were open for business.

We ate some great food, saw a few fun variety shows and drove the area taking in the beautiful scenery. We had perfect weather and enjoyed our stay. We spent 5 days at the Thousand Hills Resort was deeply discounted and our room was nice. Patti and I thought the overall vibe for the area was similar to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area, TN.

The area is filled with natural beauty. Lakes and rolling hillside. Patti and I both thought a visit in Fall would be beautiful. Be sure to do your online homework before you go as there are hundreds of options for lodging. Your in-season visit is likely to be pricey,  but there is a lot to do and see and the area is decidedly family-friendly.

We took a long day-trip down into Eureka Springs, AK and circuited the lakes at Branson.

We also made a stop at MPC indoor pickleball Club in St. Louis on the trip out. What an amazing facility!
